Aura
Fragrance notes
Character
Bergamot opens with a bright, citrus lift that carries a thread of saffron through the first minutes. The spice is present without weight, and the ozonic accord keeps the air around the fragrance feeling open. Jasmine enters early, soft and white, while orris begins to shape the heart into something powdery and calm. The opening moves quickly, and the real character of Aura sits in what follows.
Orris dominates the drydown with a cool, iris-led powder that rests against sandalwood and amber. The wood is smooth rather than dry, and the amber adds a gentle warmth that never turns heavy. Moss brings an earthy touch that grounds the floral side and keeps the powder from feeling too soft. The ozonic accord lingers in the background, so the composition stays fresh while the base notes build a quiet, chypre structure that feels composed and steady.
The ingredients smell more synthetic than their names suggest, and the orris lacks the root-like depth found in more expensive compositions. Powdery notes can feel dated to some noses, and the moss here reads flat rather than rich. The balance favors a clean, office-appropriate mood, but it never develops a distinctive voice. Aura is pleasant and easy to wear, yet it does not offer much to remember once the scent has settled on the skin.
