Character
Sunlight hits the herbs on a wide stone terrace. Bergamot and Sicilian lemon arrive first, bright and clean, joined quickly by rosemary and a sharp green thread of galbanum. Thyme and red pepper add a gentle heat, while sage and juniper keep the air crisp. Cloves appear for a moment, then settle back as the breeze moves across the planter boxes.
Patchouli and sandalwood rise from the warm stones, grounded by vetiver. The woods feel smooth rather than heavy, and the balsamic accord gives the air a soft, resinous weight. It is aromatic and green, with fresh spicy and warm spicy notes weaving together without sharp edges. The earthy character stays close to the gravel and the potted shrubs, never drifting far from the ground.
The scene stays exactly where it began, anchored by those herbs and woods. Citrus lingers in the air, but the heart of the moment is the patchouli.
