This is not a smooth entrance, and the initial impression can come across as harsh rather than inviting.
The heart introduces peppermint and ginger alongside jasmine. The mint adds a cool, green edge that contrasts with the warm spice of the ginger, while the white floral note stays quiet in the background. As it moves forward, patchouli and vetiver take over with a damp, earthy texture. Frankincense adds a resinous weight that pulls the scent toward a darker, more serious mood. It suits a heavy sweater and a quiet street where the air is cool, the sky is dark, and the only light comes from a row of lit windows reflecting off wet pavement.
