Chic Oud
Fragrance notes
Character
Lemon and bergamot bring a bright, sunlit energy that feels like a warm morning on a terrace. The citrus is sharp and clear, not candied or heavy. Cinnamon sits beside it with a dry heat that keeps the opening from feeling like a simple kitchen scent.
Oud and cashmirwood form a smooth, resinous base that leans powdery rather than aggressive. The musk adds a soft, animalic edge that gives the wood some skin. Pine tree needles and pepper are present in the heart, but they stay in the background and let the amber and oud lead the impression.
The powdery accord can read dated to someone who prefers clean, transparent florals. The balsamic depth also makes it a poor match for humid heat, where the resin starts to feel thick. It suits a wardrobe that already enjoys traditional oriental materials, but it will not win over anyone looking for a modern, minimalist wood.
