Elegant Fougère
Fragrance notes
Elegant Fougère opens with a bright citrus mix built around kumquat and mandarin orange. Pink pepper adds a sharp edge, while ginger brings a warm lift that keeps the start from feeling purely sunny. The top notes move quickly into the aromatic heart.
Lavender leads the middle stage and carries the fougère structure. Geranium adds a green touch, and rosemary reinforces the herbal tone. The heart stays dry and clean, leaning on lavender rather than on the citrus that opened the fragrance.
Patchouli and vetiver form a woody, earthy base. Benzoin adds a soft resinous warmth that rounds out the drier elements. The finish stays close to the aromatic and herbal accords without becoming sweet or heavy.
The blend feels composed and balanced across its notes. The one limitation is that the ginger and pink pepper can read as slightly sharp against the lavender, creating a small roughness in the transition between the top and the heart.
