Our take

Fizzy Energy hits the skin like a handful of pineapple gummy candies dropped into a glass of club soda, all bright fizz and artificial sunshine. The opening is a sharp blast of grapefruit rind and red apple crispness, but the sweetness is immediate and unapologetic, and that’s before the papaya and jasmine roll in, turning the whole thing into a smoothie that forgot it was supposed to be a perfume. Camelia adds a slightly waxy floral powder, like the inside of a lipstick case, while the musk and woodsy base linger faintly, as if embarrassed to be there at all. On paper, it sounds tropical and energetic, but what you actually get is a very specific image: a fruit-flavored lip gloss melting on a gym bench in July. It’s synthetic in the way all drugstore sports fragrances are, but not aggressively so; there’s a light, clean powderiness that keeps it from veering into syrupy chaos. The problem is commitment. Longevity barely scrapes two hours, and sillage is a whisper even in the first spritz. This is a fragrance that evaporates faster than your motivation for a morning jog. It suits someone who wants a quick, cheerful spritz before an outdoor brunch or a daytime errand, and who doesn’t mind reapplying every ninety minutes. Skip it if you need a fragrance to survive a full workday or a dinner out. Fizzy Energy is a flash of bubblegum optimism, here and gone before you can decide if you really liked it.
