Floating Lands opens with a noticeable synthetic edge that sits on top of the bright citrus and magnolia. The bergamot and champaca provide a sharp, clean lift, but the initial spray feels a bit transparent and lacks natural depth. This artificial quality is the fragrance's main drawback, as it prevents the opening from feeling fully grounded.
The heart shifts into a dense white floral profile where iris and tuberose take control. The iris adds a soft, powdery texture that mixes with the creamy weight of the tuberose. This combination creates a rich, heavy floral atmosphere that suits a bright, sunlit room where the air feels warm and clear. The scent feels polished and deliberate, moving from that sharp start into a smooth, creamy center.
As it settles, the base introduces labdanum and honey, giving the composition a sticky, amber sweetness. The vetiver tries to add a dry, woody counterpoint, but the honey remains the dominant force. It is a sweet, powdery, and floral experience that stays close to its white floral roots. The honey note lingers alongside the powdery iris accord.
