Formula 12
Fragrance notes
Character
Formula 12 opens with bright bergamot and a juicy pear note that feels crisp rather than sugary. The fruit is immediate and clear, giving the entrance a clean, outdoor freshness that does not lean into candy. Kristof Lefebre keeps the start transparent, so the citrus and fruit read as natural accents instead of a heavy gourmand layer.
The heart brings rose forward, supported by peony and geranium. The rose is fresh and lightly spicy, the peony adds a soft petal roundness, and the geranium contributes an herbal edge that keeps the flowers from turning powdery. Cedar anchors the base with a dry, woody line that steadies the floral bouquet and adds a faint aromatic bitterness to the finish.
The scent fits a bright morning with a light jacket and open windows, when the air feels cool but the sun is fully out. It works for someone who enjoys a rose that stays fresh and herbal, carried by clean wood and a touch of fruit.
