Our take

Black cherry leads here, dark and sticky, with pine needles pricking through the syrup. Incense curls around both, cool at first, then warm. Cacao pod and orris arrive quickly, softening the fruit into something powdered and dry. Jasmine lifts the middle just enough to keep the gourmand heart from sitting flat. You will notice the scent most when you move, or when someone leans in close, and it stays present through a long evening without demanding constant attention. Vanilla and musk settle last, smooth and a little blurry, while the fire note smolders low rather than roaring.

The mood is a dim kitchen after dinner, the table cleared, a slice of chocolate cake left on a plate, windows fogged against the cold outside. It feels intimate and a little indulgent, more suited to a quiet night than a bright morning. The cacao smells real rather than sugary, and the pine keeps the fruit from leaning too playful. It wears neatly on skin and clothes alike, never announcing itself across a room.

The orris can turn a bit chalky on certain skin types, muting the cherry until the fruit barely reads as fruit. That dry edge may disappoint anyone hoping for a lush, juicy gourmand that stays sweet through every hour.
