Our take

Harry's opens with a brisk shake of coriander and pink pepper that feels like stepping into a narrow stone alley after rain. The geranium adds a green, slightly medicinal edge that keeps the spices from feeling warm or welcoming. This is not a friendly greeting. It is a sharp, herbal wall that demands attention before the deeper elements arrive.

The heart shifts the scene toward a quiet interior where cedar and frankincense burn slowly in a corner. Smoke curls through the air, dry and resonant, mingling with the resinous bite of the incense. There is a church-like gravity here, but the wood keeps it grounded rather than celestial. It feels deliberate and austere.

Labdanum and amber finally soften the edges, but the leather in the base remains firm and unyielding. The amber lends a golden, resinous weight that sticks to the skin like dust in an old library. Animalic and musky undertones creep in, giving the fragrance a slightly untamed character that some will find compelling and others will find abrasive.

Composed by Roberto Dario, this scent captures a specific mood of shadow and stone. The limitation is its personality. It is intensely dry and bitter, lacking any sweetness to balance the herbal sharpness. If you prefer smooth, approachable blends, this will feel too harsh and skeletal for your taste.
