His Highness
Fragrance notes
Character
The afternoon sun warms the stone terrace. A silver bowl of raspberries sits near a cluster of fresh thyme sprigs just snipped from the garden. His Highness moves through this space with a bright, metallic edge that catches the light. The saffron arrives early, lending a deep golden color to the fruit without weighing it down. It feels like a fabric draped over warm skin, rich but breathable in the open air.
Jasmine begins to rise as the heat increases. It carries a clean, white floral clarity that cuts through the spice. Frankincense adds a resinous, aromatic smoke that feels dry against the sweet air. The composition stays balanced here, never leaning so far into the resin that the flowers disappear. It is a crisp, vertical line of scent that stands up straight against the blue sky.
The ground beneath the terrace is damp with morning dew that has not yet evaporated. Oud and patchouli root the fragrance into this earth, offering a dark, woody contrast to the brightness above. Vanilla smooths the transition, adding a soft sweetness that mimics the warmth of the stone. White musk lingers in the air, creating a clean finish that feels modern against the ancient woods.
The metallic sting of the opening notes still touches the air near the bowl of fruit, mixing with the heavy resin that now rests near the ground. Thyme and raspberry share the same space as the deep, dark patchouli. The vanilla continues to soften the edges of the oud, keeping the entire scene feeling light despite the heavy base notes resting below.
