Character
A man steps out onto a wooden porch where the air still carries a bite from the fading evening. He pulls a jacket tighter and the movement releases a sharp, resinous pine that cuts through the cool atmosphere. Saffron and nutmeg sit close behind, lending a dry, powdered heat that keeps the opening from feeling like a forest alone. The spices do not shout. They settle into the fabric and the skin, creating a warm perimeter around the body while the night settles in around him.
Vanilla and patchouli rise next, thick and earthy, twisted together with the dry scent of hay that smells of dust and open fields. The sweetness stays grounded, never floating upward, held down by the patchouli’s dark weight. Leather emerges from the base, smooth and textured like the jacket he wears, while moss adds a damp, shaded green that clings to the edges of the scene. The animalic accord hums underneath it all, giving the air a lived-in roughness that matches the cold wood beneath his boots and the silence pressing in from the trees.
