Our take

This is a chypre floral that wants to be a citrusy white floral but keeps tripping over its own sweet fruity intro. The opening is a neon blast of pink grapefruit and raspberry, sharpened with ginger and pink pepper, bright enough to make you blink. It settles quickly into a dense heart of jasmine and orange blossom, layered with magnolia and a restrained rose, all creamy but a bit synthetic around the edges. The drydown is where it finds its footing: iris and cashmere wood soften the patchouli and sandalwood into a plush, almost powdery base that lingers with quiet persistence.

The overall character is like a silk blouse that looks expensive under dim light but reveals a loose thread in the sun. It feels fresh and sweet upfront, then turns warm and softly woody, but the transition is a little clumsy, and the sillage fades from confident to a close skin scent within two hours. The longevity, around three to four hours, demands reapplication for an evening out.

This works best for someone who wants a cheerful, easy spring day scent, a brunch perfume that doesn't demand attention. Skip it if you crave depth or projection; the raspberry and pink pepper wear thin quickly, and the jasmine never quite blooms into anything lush. It is a perfectly pleasant departmental store counter fragrance, competent but not compelling. Wear it to a garden party where you will be indoors after the first hour.
