Fragrance notes
Character
Pear and jasmine make a bright, juicy pair. The fruit is immediate and uncomplicated, while the flower smooths the edges so the opening does not feel like a candy shop. Benzoin and vanilla anchor the blend with a thick, resinous warmth that leans sweet rather than dry.
Sunlight hits a windowsill where a bowl of cut oranges sits next to a linen blouse. That is the mood here. The musk keeps the texture airy, so the gourmand elements never turn heavy, and the sandalwood adds a soft woodiness that grounds the cheerful fruit without darkening it.
Caron composed this with William Fraysse at the helm. The accord is pleasant and easy to wear, but it lacks a distinct personality once the initial fruit fades. The vanilla becomes a generic sugary blanket that could belong to any mainstream release in this family. It is a safe choice that rarely surprises.
