Vanilla and amber wrap around the flowers, creating a warm, resinous base that feels more suited to cool evenings than hot afternoons. The cedar provides a dry counterpoint, though it struggles to cut through the sweetness of the other base notes.
This scent stays near the body, moving with you rather than announcing itself from a distance, and it maintains a steady presence for a reasonable span without demanding constant attention. Its main drawback is the animalic accord, which can feel sharp and slightly dated against the modern clean florals currently on shelves.
