Lorenda opens with a sharp pull of bitter orange and petitgrain that feels brisk and clean. The citrus is bright but not juicy, leaning into the green side of the peel. Petitgrain adds a leafy, slightly twiggy edge that keeps the start from feeling like a standard summer spritz. It moves quickly into a heart of jasmine sambac, ylang-ylang, and pink pepper. The white floral accord is creamy and full, with ylang-ylang giving a banana-like richness that some will love and others will find too much. Pink pepper sprinkles a mild heat that stops the flowers from sitting flat.
The base brings vanilla and benzoin together with lily. Vanilla and benzoin create a warm, resinous blanket that feels smooth rather than sugary. Lily is unusual here and does not read as a fresh cut stem. Instead it adds a soft, slightly powdery floral layer that blends into the amber accord. The overall impression is oriental and rounded, with citrus lingering just long enough to keep the sweetness from becoming heavy.
