Matahari
Fragrance notes
Character
Sunlight pools on a white stone terrace where a bowl of sliced kiwi and peach rests beside a glass of chilled water. Matahari lives in that bright air. The opening arrives with cassis and watermelon, their juice sharp against the warm stone, while pear and rhubarb add a crisp edge. It feels like a breeze moving across a table set for a slow morning, the fruit notes clear and immediate, unclouded by anything heavy.
The heart settles into a soft floral cluster. Rose and jasmine sit with freesia and cyclamen, their petals damp from the humidity that rises off the garden below. Here the scent turns powdery and aromatic, the green and ozonic accords threading through the blooms so the flowers never feel dry or arranged. Sandalwood and cedar begin to show, their pale wood tones grounding the airy petals without dimming the light. Amber and musk wrap the base in a gentle warmth that keeps the terrace feeling intimate rather than exposed.
The drydown stays close to the skin, a blend of creamy sandalwood, clean cedar, and a soft amber glow. Musk smooths every edge so the woods feel lived in rather than polished. The fruity top has long since melted into the floral heart, leaving a woody, powdery, fresh impression that lingers in the warm air. It is a calm, aromatic finish built on sandalwood.
