Mo 末
Fragrance notes
Character
Mo 末 opens with a sharp, resinous lift from juniper berries and pimento leaf. Pu'er tea sits beside them, earthy and cool, steering the start away from a bright citrus tone. The opening feels dry and slightly medicinal, with a green edge that keeps the spices from feeling warm.
The heart deepens the tea theme through a fermented note that smells dark and slightly sour. Guaiac wood and cedar add a dry, polished wood character, while cade oil brings a smoky, tar-like weight. The transition is smooth, moving from the crisp top into a denser, more resinous core that feels grounded and masculine.
Leather and patchouli take over the base, supported by the clean, rooty bitterness of vetiver. The leather is smooth rather than rugged, blending into the woody accord without dominating it. The overall impression is dry, smoky, and aromatic, suited to a quiet street under grey skies or a dim room where the air feels cool against the skin.
