Naturelle
Fragrance notes
Character
Naturelle keeps things simple and green. Lemon, green apple, bergamot and marigold open crisp and a little tart, with peach blossom and jasmine softening the middle just slightly, a profile suited to warm weather right from the first spray. Marigold gives the top a faint herbal bitterness that sits just underneath the sweeter fruit. None of the notes are unusual on their own, but together they stay clean and unfussy.
Cedar, musk and amber close it out, light and clean rather than heavily woody, the amber never building into much more than a faint warmth by the very end. This is where Naturelle shows its limits: it fades sooner than most fragrances and asks for a top-up if you want it to keep going, and it leaves almost no trail beyond the skin itself, noticed mostly by the wearer alone. Still, for a bright, green summer scent worn during the day, that thinness is a fair trade for something this uncomplicated and easy to wear, not built to impress anyone but the person wearing it, a light layer more than a lasting impression.
