Vanilla and mimosa lead from the start, soft and a little powdery, lifted by mandarin orange and orange blossom so the sweetness never sits flat. Staying power is average, holding for a normal stretch of wear without much drama, and the sillage stays fairly small, a gentle waft that mostly stays with the wearer. Virginia cedar shows up late, giving the vanilla some dry structure instead of letting it turn into straight sugar.
This is a simple, cold-weather vanilla built around mimosa's yellow-floral fuzziness more than around anything gourmand or boozy. Orange blossom does real work in the top, giving the mimosa something honeyed to lean on, softening the citrus edge above it. Jacques Cavallier Belletrud gets the perfumer credit here, and there's a straightforwardness to the whole thing that reads more everyday than niche.
It suits easy, low-effort days, layered under a sweater, and works fine as a routine scent, though it doesn't have much ambition beyond that comfort. Cedar's dry, slightly resinous quality stands out as the best part of the drydown, giving the vanilla some welcome texture and grain, the one note here that isn't purely about comfort.
