A narrow stone courtyard sits quiet under a cold sky. A small fire burns in a metal bowl, and someone has just peeled a ripe apricot over the flame. The fruit sits beside a dish of dark honey and a block of yellow beeswax. The air carries that exact mix now. Frankincense rises from the fire, and the apricot adds a soft, fleshy sweetness to the smoke. Beeswax gives the opening a thick, golden texture that feels warm against the chill.
Cypriol and cedar push through the sweetness. The cypriol smells dry and earthy, pulling the fruit toward the ground. Honey remains, but it turns heavier, less like a pastry and more like a substance stored in a jar. Beeswax appears again here, bridging the bright top and the dark heart. Cedar adds a clean, dry wood that keeps the honey from feeling sticky.
The ground shifts underfoot. Amber and labdanum spread a resinous weight across the scene. Suede and leather arrive together, smelling like worn material left near a heat source. Oud adds a deep, animalic wood that feels rooted in the earth. The air becomes dense with amber, oud, and leather.
