Bergamot brightens the first breath, its citrus edge quickly softened by saffron that smells of crushed threads and warm skin. Chocolate rises from the heart, thick and dark, while geranium and freesia pull the sweetness toward something greener and more alive. Tonka bean rests in the middle, smooth and slightly powdery, bridging the spice and the sugar. The air feels layered, each note distinct yet folded into the next, like a heavy knit thrown over a chair near a window where the glass fogs at the corners.
Toffee and vanilla settle into the base, rich and sticky, while oakmoss grounds the blend with a damp, earthy whisper that keeps the sugar from overwhelming the air. The scent sits close to the moment, part of the quiet indoors while the world outside turns sharp and gray. It feels composed by Bertrand Duchaufour to be indulgent without losing its shape, the florals and spices keeping the gourmand notes from collapsing into a flat dessert. Freesia adds a soft lift, saffron hums in the background, and the chocolate stays dark rather than milky. The room smells of vanilla.
