Perles de Myrrhe
Fragrance notes
The sun is low over a stone courtyard where a small bowl of ripe peaches sits beside a brass mortar. Someone has just cracked green cardamom pods into the bowl, and the air carries that bright, citrusy bite cutting through the soft, fuzzy sweetness of the fruit. The fruit is warm from the afternoon, its juice thick and clinging, while the spice lands sharp and clean against the skin.
Jasmine climbs a nearby wall, its white petals heavy and almost creamy, and the damask rose adds a deep, honeyed floral layer that feels rich rather than powdery. The flowers do not float above the fruit. They press into it, creating a dense, golden atmosphere where the spice continues to hum and the peach remains sticky and present in the air.
Myrrh begins to rise from the ground, resinous and dark, pulling the bright opening toward a shaded, balsamic depth. Patchouli adds an earthy weight that grounds the sweetness, and cedar provides a dry, structural frame. The resin thickens, the air turns amber and aromatic, and the entire scene settles into a warm, woody haze that continues to unfold
