Our take

Seeing Rouge has a rough edge that shows itself quickly. The metallic accord clashes with the black currant, giving the fruit a sharp, almost tinny bite that does not round out. Saffron adds a dry heat that sits unevenly next to the amber, so the warmth feels scattered instead of smooth. Moss and leather pull the scent toward something earthy and dark, but the tobacco stays faint, more of a suggestion than a presence. The animalic note gives it a slight roughness that some will find honest and others will find messy. It stays close, moving only a little through the air, and the scent does not push far from the skin.

You are standing in a small room where someone left a bowl of tart currants on a wooden table next to a pile of dry moss and an open jar of saffron. A thin strip of leather lies nearby, and a tiny pinch of amber warms the air without filling the space. The fruit smells bright against the wood, the spice feels dry, and the moss keeps everything grounded. It is quiet, personal, and slightly uneven, like a sketch drawn in the corner of a page while the room stays still.
