Shiraz
Fragrance notes
Character
Mandarin orange and citron open the composition with a bright, immediate lift. The citrus feels clean and direct rather than sugary. Grapefruit follows in the heart, adding a sharper edge that keeps the opening from settling into something soft. Jasmine sits beside it, offering a white floral layer that is present without becoming heady.
Neroli anchors the drydown alongside amber and musk. The amber brings a gentle warmth that rounds out the citrus, while the musk keeps the finish close and personal. A powdery accord runs through the base, giving the fragrance a smooth texture that feels intentional rather than accidental.
Composed by Anne-Louise Gautier and launched in 2024, Shiraz carries a modern clarity. It leans toward a polished, daytime presence rather than evening drama. The citrus and white floral accords suggest a fragrance meant for bright rooms, open windows, and the kind of morning light that makes colors look sharper.
The overall impression is of a sunlit courtyard where citrus trees grow in large terracotta pots.
