Fragrance notes
Character
The ferry cuts through early morning water, salt mist drifting across the rail where a man stands with both hands in his jacket pockets. Bergamot and mandarin orange brighten the air around him, their citrus edges sharp against the damp cold. Elemi adds a resinous lift that feels like sun warming a stone surface, clean and faintly metallic. The spray from the bow carries a marine note that mixes with the fruit, creating a freshness that belongs entirely to the open water.
Lavender and geranium unfold as the boat turns toward the city skyline. The lavender is dry and herbal, the geranium leafy and green, and together they keep the citrus from feeling like a bright morning alone. Amber settles underneath, smooth and golden, while patchouli and vetiver ground the scent with an earthy woodsiness. Moss clings to the edges, damp and shadowed, pulling the aquatic brightness into something more rooted and permanent.
The scent becomes the smell of a coastal path after the tide pulls back, where wet stones hold the day's last warmth and the air still tastes of salt and orange peel.
