Our take

SOL by Music de Parfum opens with a thick oud note that feels resinous and dark. Gurjan balsam adds a warm, slightly sharp edge that keeps the wood from sitting flat. The heart brings jasmine and rose forward, but they do not dominate. Patchouli and vetiver give the floral side an earthy weight, while sandalwood smooths the transitions between the green and woody elements. The composition stays powdery throughout, with the floral and woody parts sharing space instead of taking turns. Christian Provenzano built a blend where the oud remains present without overwhelming the lighter petals.

Musk, amber, and vanilla form a base that feels soft and rounded. The vanilla is present but restrained, letting the amber carry more of the warmth. This suits a setting with cool air and changing light, where a scent with this much wood and powder feels natural. The white floral accord stays close to the skin while the earthy and musky tones hold the structure together. It works for anyone who likes rose paired with deep wood and a calm, dry finish. The overall impression is woody and powdery.
