Soul

The opening is a bright spray of citruses. Yuzu and bergamot give a sharp, clean lift that feels immediate. Cardamom enters with a green, slightly peppery heat that keeps the fruit from leaning too sweet. The citrus accord is prominent and clear.

Rose and rose geranium form a soft, powdery floral heart. The oud in the base is present but restrained, sitting beside a heavy amber and a smooth vanilla. Tolu balsam adds a resinous depth. Musk rounds out the drydown. The whole composition feels like walking into a room where someone has just peeled a yuzu and set down a bowl of warm amber resin beside it.
