Time for Peace
Fragrance notes
Character
Time for Peace is a daylight companion for the person who wants a forest walk without leaving the city. The opening delivers mandarin orange brightened by sage, a quick flash that clears the head and invites a deep breath. It feels like stepping outside after a long meeting, the air cooler and the light sharper than the room you left behind.
Chestnut and tonka bean arrive soon, steering the scent toward a soft, edible warmth that never turns heavy. The citrus fades, and the heart rests on that gentle sweetness while Virginia cedar and vetiver ground the blend with a dry, earthy plank beneath the sugar. Amber and vanilla wrap the wood in a powdery haze that stays close to the skin.
That closeness is the point. The scent remains near you, a personal layer that lingers through a long afternoon without reaching across the space. It is built to stay with you rather than announce itself, the kind of trail that only appears when someone stands near enough to notice the cedar and the warm nut.
Annick Menardo composed a fougere that favors comfort over spectacle. The drydown keeps the chestnut and the amber in steady company, the vanilla smoothing every edge while the vetiver keeps the sweetness from drifting too far from the ground.
