Toscano Intenso
Fragrance notes
Character
Toscano Intenso opens with a crisp green apple and lime pairing that feels bright and slightly tart. Saffron threads through the citrus immediately, adding a warm, slightly metallic edge that keeps the start from leaning too juicy. The transition moves into rose geranium and fir, where the green floral tone meets a resinous, needle-like freshness. Frankincense and oakmoss give the heart a dry, slightly shadowed texture that grounds the lighter top notes without dulling them.
The base settles into sandalwood and patchouli, creating a creamy, earthy foundation that feels steady and composed. Benzoin and vetiver add a balsamic, rooty depth, while musk smooths the edges and keeps the finish from turning too sharp. The overall character is woody and aromatic with clear spicy accents, moving between fresh and warm as the composition unfolds. It suits cooler air and dimmer light, where the resin and moss can sit comfortably against the skin.
The accord list is long, and that breadth is also the limitation. With citrus, spice, resin, moss, balsam, and earth all present, no single facet dominates for long. The fragrance is pleasant and well assembled, but it rarely commits fully to one direction, so it can feel a bit diffuse rather than sharply defined.
