Vasara (Лето) opens with a rough edge that some will find off-putting. The oregano in the heart sits oddly against the pear and rose, creating a herbal sting that can read more medicinal than refreshing. It is a strange choice in a floral bouquet, and it prevents the composition from ever feeling completely smooth or polished.
Bergamot and lime blossom give the opening a bright, pollen-heavy lift. Vanilla and jasmine soften the entry, but the violet leaf adds a crisp green snap that keeps the sweetness from becoming heavy. It feels like walking through a garden where the flowers grow right next to wild kitchen herbs.
Coumarin brings a powdery warmth that bridges the gap between the citrus top and the earthy base. Vetiver and patchouli anchor the blend with a woody soil scent, while musk adds a clean finish. The overall impression is aromatic and aquatic, suited for a morning market stall filled with fresh cuts and ripe fruit.
That oregano note remains the dividing line. It gives Vasara (Лето) a unique, slightly bitter personality that distinguishes it from standard florals, but it also limits its appeal.
