The heart brings iris and white leather forward. Jasmine sits underneath, adding a floral softness that keeps the leather from feeling stiff. The iris gives a powdery texture that blends into the metallic saffron still lingering from the opening.
The base takes over with ambroxan and cedar. Praline adds a sweet, nutty weight that changes the shape of the scent completely. The cedar is dry and clean, while the ambroxan pushes a heavy amber tone. This part of the fragrance feels musky and earthy, with the tobacco accord appearing here as a dry, dusty companion to the wood. The praline makes the drydown noticeably sweet, which sits heavily against the metallic start.
