Our take

Lemon zest and bergamot lead the opening with a bright, clean snap that feels like sunlight hitting a quiet room. White tea sits just behind the citrus, lending a soft, slightly grassy edge that keeps the start from feeling sharp or medicinal. The first impression is airy and polite, more suited to a calm morning than a loud entrance.

The heart brings jasmine and orange blossom forward, supported by ylang ylang and rose. The white floral accord is prominent here, rounded and slightly creamy rather than sharp or soapy. Black amber and benzoin in the base add a warm, resinous weight, while patchouli grounds the blend with a dark, earthy texture. The result is a floral that carries real depth beneath its light surface.

This is composed by Danielle Fleming. The animalic accord is subtle but present, and it may unsettle anyone expecting a purely clean tea scent. The sweetness also leans heavier than the bright top notes suggest, and the balance sometimes tilts toward the resinous base too early, leaving the crisp tea impression shorter lived than the opening promises.
