Our take

Wuthering Heights opens with clover, heather, and mandarin orange. The clover and heather give a green, floral character that feels grounded rather than bright. Mandarin orange adds a sweet lift that keeps the opening from becoming too dry. Ivy and fig follow in the heart. The ivy reinforces the green quality already present, while the fig brings a soft, sweet depth that rounds out the florals. The transition stays within the same family of scents, moving from fresh greenery into something slightly denser and more rounded.

The base introduces moss, patchouli, cedar, and warm spicy elements. Moss and patchouli create an earthy, mossy foundation that feels natural and slightly damp. Cedar adds a woody structure that supports the heavier materials without dominating them. The warm spicy accord sits quietly underneath, giving the drydown a gentle heat. Throughout the wear, the fragrance stays green, floral, mossy, woody, earthy, sweet, fresh, and ozonic all at once.

The fig and mandarin orange make the blend sweeter than the greenery might suggest, and the patchouli leans heavy. The combination can feel crowded, with too many directions competing at the same time. The ozonic and fresh aspects do not fully balance the earthy base, leaving a mix that lacks a clear focus.
