Character
Marigold and cardamom lead the opening with a bright, resinous lift that feels like stepping out into clear air after a rain. The elemi adds a pale citrus edge that keeps the start clean rather than heavy. Cedar and lavender arrive quickly, the lavender soft and dry, the cedar straight and dry. Black pepper adds a small sting that wakes the blend without turning sharp. The spices sit close to the skin and move with the body instead of pushing outward across a space.
Tonka bean and vetiver carry the base, the tonka smooth and lightly sweet, the vetiver earthy and lean. Patchouli grounds the mix with a dark, herbal weight that stops the sweetness from running loose. The woods and spices linger through a morning or an afternoon without demanding attention or overwhelming a room. It keeps a steady presence that stays near the wearer and requires no second application to remain noticeable on the wrist.
The composition wears well in natural light and suits a calm, structured day. It feels precise and modern, though the herbs and spices never quite settle into a fully distinct shape. The blend stays safe and a little anonymous, offering no single note that truly defines its character.
