Zefiro
Fragrance notes
Zefiro opens with pink pepper and mandarin orange. The pepper brings a dry, slightly prickly edge that keeps the citrus from feeling bright or juicy. Mandarin provides a soft orange presence that sits close to the skin and does not project a loud, sunny character. Together they create a light entrance that feels more aromatic than fruity.
The heart shifts toward tonka bean and heliotrope. Tonka bean adds a smooth, sweet depth that reads as vanilla and almond without becoming a gourmand. Heliotrope contributes a powdery softness that rounds the blend and pushes it toward a classic, slightly vintage floral tone. The overall impression is sweet, powdery, and warm, supported by the amber accord that begins to show here.
Vetiver and amber form the base. Vetiver adds an earthy, woody dryness that prevents the sweetness from dominating. Amber reinforces the warm, resinous character already present in the heart. The result is a unisex composition that stays in the amber, vanilla, and powdery space throughout. The synthetic edge in the heliotrope and tonka can feel a bit flat and one-dimensional, lacking the natural texture that would make the sweetness more engaging.
