Amber Oud
Fragrance notes
Character
The air is cool and the pavement still holds a trace of earlier rain when a cloud of Amber Oud moves past. Saffron threads through bright orange at the start, sharp and golden, then the scent settles into the dry heat of cypriol and guaiac wood. The wood is not polished. It feels raw and close to the ground, supported by patchouli that carries a dark, soil-like weight. Oud enters with a resinous, slightly medicinal depth that anchors the entire composition, while sandalwood smooths the edges just enough to keep the sharpest corners from biting. The blend stays warm and earthy, never leaning sweet, with each note pressing against the next in a tight, layered knot.
You are standing near a brick wall where the dampness rising from the ground meets the heavy wood of a carved door that has absorbed years of smoke and spice. The fragrance sits in that space between the cold stone and the warm interior, a dense ribbon of saffron, oud, and patchouli wrapped around the night air.
