Mithai
Fragrance notes
Character
Mithai opens with a brisk cardamom and bergamot pairing that feels bright and slightly peppery. The spice is immediate and clear, never sharp.
The heart brings black tea and cashew together with a soft rose. The tea adds a gentle bitterness that keeps the nuts from feeling heavy. Vanilla and whipped cream arrive in the base, smooth and airy rather than thick. Patchouli grounds the sweetness with an earthy edge, so the dessert impression stays dry enough to wear. The cream note behaves like a texture more than a flavor, lending roundness to the vanilla. Rose lingers quietly beneath the gourmand elements, adding a floral lift that prevents the base from sitting flat.
Composed by Alexandre Freile, this oriental vanilla feels like walking past a kitchen where cardamom biscuits cool on a wire rack while someone nearby brews strong tea.
