Club de Nuit Woman Extreme Edition
Fragrance notes
Character
Grapefruit, bergamot, orange and peach open this composition with a sharp citrus burst that carries a soft fruit edge. The peach rounds the tart opening without turning it sweet. Geranium, jasmine, litchi and rose follow in the heart, where the rose sits clearly among the white florals and the litchi adds a juicy accent. Geranium brings a mild green touch that keeps the florals from feeling heavy. Patchouli, vanilla, vetiver and musk form the base, with vanilla providing a smooth warmth and patchouli adding a dry, earthy contrast. Vetiver contributes a clean woody tone while musk settles the blend into a soft finish. The accords list citrus, fresh spicy, aromatic, rose, woody, fruity, powdery, vanilla, musky and white floral, and all of them appear in the wear. The citrus stays present well into the later stages rather than vanishing early.
The blend feels synthetic in several places, especially in the peach and litchi, which lack the natural depth found in more expensive compositions. The spicy accord is mild and does not add much definition, leaving the middle section a bit flat. Powdery notes increase as the fragrance develops, which some wearers may find outdated. The vanilla and musk combination is pleasant but common, offering little that distinguishes this release from many other floral fruity options on the market.
