Nights out are Ultra Male's territory, a sweet, spiced fragrance loud enough to notice but not aggressive about it. Pear, lavender and mint open cool and fruity, cinnamon and clary sage warm the middle quickly, and black vanilla husk, amber and patchouli take over for a rich, sweet base that dominates the drydown completely. Caraway threads a faint, herbal edge through the sweetness, giving it more than one dimension, and bergamot barely survives past the first minute.
Cold-weather nights are where it belongs, worn out to bars, parties, anywhere the night calls for something with presence. It has almost nothing to offer a bright summer afternoon, and someone who wants a fresh citrus scent for daytime should skip straight past this bottle, since the whole structure is built around warmth and sugar.
On skin it holds firm and stays put, and the sillage has real reach, leaving a trail that people pick up on as you pass. The vanilla and cinnamon pairing carries most of the identity here, warm and a little gourmand, balanced, not syrupy, and it works best when the goal is to be remembered rather than simply noticed in passing.
