Magus
Fragrance notes
Character
Magus opens with cinnamon and mandarin orange supported by cardamom and coriander. The citrus is bright and immediate, but the spice moves forward quickly and gives the start a warm, slightly dry edge. It feels composed and steady rather than playful, with the coriander adding a green lift that keeps the cinnamon from dominating too soon.
The heart brings tonka bean, tolu balsam, violet, coconut and patchouli. Violet sits quietly among the heavier materials and softens the bitterness of the patchouli. Coconut adds a smooth, round texture that blends with the balsam, while tonka bean pushes the blend toward a gentle sweetness. The result is powdery and aromatic, with the amber accord already visible beneath the surface.
Vanilla, benzoin, amber and musk form the base and carry the sweetness through to the end. The fragrance suits cool air and natural light, where the spice feels inviting and the vanilla stays calm. It is sweet without becoming heavy and powdery without turning dry. Musk keeps the finish close and soft. The amber accord remains steady throughout.
