Leather sits underneath everything in Fahrenheit, an odd, waxy note that reads almost like melting crayon against the citrus and lavender up top. It is a strange pairing, violet and leather and citrus all fighting for space at once, and nutmeg flower adds a spiced, almost floral edge to the opening that few other fragrances attempt.
Violet leaf and carnation add a green, slightly floral sharpness to the heart, while nutmeg and cedar keep things spiced and dry underneath the florals. Jasmine and honeysuckle soften it only slightly, never quite winning out over the leather waiting in the base.
Vetiver, patchouli, and amber round out the base under the leather, animalic and woody at once, with a faint aquatic edge from the ozonic accord keeping it from turning too heavy. Longevity runs long-lasting, and the sillage forms a modest bubble around the wearer that holds its shape well.
It settles best into fall and winter nights, somewhere cold enough for the leather to sit right against the skin. Citrus and lavender never fully leave, cutting through the leather and animalic base all the way down to the last trace of it.
