Our take

J’Adore Infinissime opens with a spritz of blood orange so vivid it nearly stings, pink pepper adding a fizzy spark before the florals flood in. This is not a shy perfume. The tuberose is creamy and indolic, the jasmine sambac honeyed and lush, and together with ylang ylang and rose they form a dense white floral bouquet that feels both opulent and a little synthetic, like a silk scarf freshly pressed but too crisp at the edges. Lily of the valley lifts the heart with a green, nearly soapy note, preventing the whole thing from drowning in syrup. The dry down settles on sandalwood, warm and softly woody, but it never fully escapes the floral core. That bright citrus introduction promises more complexity than the base delivers. Longevity is moderate at best, and sillage stays close after the first hour. You will need to reapply if you want the tuberose to trail behind you. Who is this for? Someone who loves a classic white floral but finds the original J’Adore too polite. It suits spring and fall afternoons, a lunch date or a walk through a farmer’s market, but avoid it on humid summer nights when the sweetness turns cloying. The bottle is lovely, the juice pleasant, yet it lacks the staying power to justify its price. A cheerful floral that fades before the evening begins.
