Forever and Ever is built from exactly three notes, freesia, jasmine and a tincture of rose, and it wears like it, simple to the point of feeling unfinished for what it costs. There's no real top-to-base journey here, just a clean, slightly powdery white floral that barely shifts once it settles on skin. Freesia leads throughout, green and a touch citrusy, while jasmine adds a warmer, slightly indolic note underneath it without ever taking over, and the rose tincture stays almost too quiet to register on its own.
What it does, it does cleanly: freesia keeps things bright and a little green, jasmine adds warmth without turning heavy, and the rose tincture underneath is soft rather than jammy. Sillage stays modest, noticed mainly up close, and the persistence is average at best, easily worn through daytime but not built for much after dark. It works well for spring, an office, a first meeting, anywhere a quiet floral can do its job without needing to be memorable. It reads like a rough sketch of a fragrance, pleasant enough but never quite finished, missing the extra note or two that would have given it real character.
