Our take

Pink pepper and citrus open Guilty with a fizzy, sharp start, and peach and black currant sweeten it almost right away, jasmine and lilac filling out a fruity floral heart that never gets too delicate. Geranium threads through the middle without calling much attention to itself, giving the florals a slightly green backbone that keeps the whole heart from turning purely sugary. It reads as an evening fragrance more than an office one, built with enough sweetness and spice to stand out at a dinner.

Patchouli and amber ground it by the drydown, with white musk and vanilla folding in a soft finish. Longevity keeps a steady, unremarkable pace, present for an evening out without much drama, and it forms a small, contained cloud around the wearer, noticed at close range, easy to wear without demanding attention. It works well for a fall evening out, layered under a coat, and equally fine on a milder spring day. Tart on top and earthy underneath, like fruit left to dry at the bottom of a bowl, is what stays after everything else fades: the black currant and patchouli together.
