Pomegranate and persimmon open thick and syrupy, a deep plum purple color you can almost see, and a green accord cuts through the fruit just before it turns cloying. Black orchid takes over in the heart, dark and slightly rubbery the way orchid notes tend to be, while lotus and champaca add a powdery, waxy floral undertone underneath it, giving the orchid something to lean on.
Mahogany and amber ground the base in warm wood, and whipped cream with black violet give the drydown a soft, powdery sweetness that sticks around once the fruit notes fade and keeps the whole thing a modest bubble, easy to notice within arm's reach. None of these base notes are loud on their own, but stacked together they give the fragrance real body once the fruit has settled down. Winter is its strongest season, worn into evenings when the dark fruit and heavier florals have room to sit on the skin and develop slowly. It suits anyone who wants a moody, purple toned floral over something clean and citrus driven, and less so anyone who prefers a light, sheer scent.
