Agape by V Canto is a chocolate fragrance that belongs in bright daylight. The opening pairs Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian orange with cocoa, and the citrus keeps the chocolate from collapsing into a heavy block. Sugar cane and bourbon vanilla add a clear sweetness, but the top notes stay loud enough to push the scent toward a sunny patio rather than a dim room. Black locust brings a pale floral thread that keeps the opening airy.
The heart settles into a warm, sugary center where patchouli and tonka bean meet the vanilla. This is the point where the fragrance feels most like a treat, yet the citrus from the start still hums underneath.
