Character
Black pepper hits first, sharp and dry against the bright lift of mandarin orange. The citrus is quick to fade, leaving the spice to sit on top of a soft floral heart. Rose and jasmine carry a powdery weight here, supported by the smooth, synthetic wood of cashmeran. The flowers do not smell fresh. They feel pressed and warm, resting heavily on the skin.
Patchouli anchors the blend with a damp, earthy touch, while amber and vanilla add a golden, resinous sweetness. Cedar keeps the base from becoming too sticky, lending a dry plank of wood to the mix. The scent stays near the body, moving with you rather than announcing your arrival from a distance. It holds its shape for a long while once the initial spice settles into the resin.
This is a fragrance for dim restaurants and late conversations in enclosed spaces. It suits someone who enjoys a floral scent but wants the backbone of heavy wood and spice.
