The morning air is cool against the skin as a market stall displays bright citrus fruits and small baskets of berries. A vendor hands over a paper bag filled with candied orange slices that glisten with sugar, and the scent rises immediately. Raspberry adds a tart red edge to the sticky sweetness of the fruit, while orange blossom brings a fresh white brightness that cuts through the heavy sugar.
Jasmine and violet unfold next, their petals soft and slightly powdery against the sharp citrus opening. Neroli bridges the gap between the floral heart and the opening fruit, keeping the composition light rather than dense. Vanilla enters slowly, smooth and warm, blending with the musk to create a clean, creamy base that sits close to the skin.
The candied orange remains the star, supported by the raspberry and the gentle floral lift of the blossoms. Sweet vanilla wraps around the citrus, turning the air into something edible yet refined.
