Our take

Astrale is for the woman who wants a citrus opening that does not vanish into a thin, watery finish. The Italian mandarin, lemon, bergamot, and orange arrive bright and loud, with lavender and basil adding a green, aromatic edge that keeps the fruit from leaning juvenile. This is not a simple summer spritz that lives only on a breeze. The top notes have weight and presence, which is the first reason this fragrance commits to a fuller experience.

The heart deepens that commitment through Tunisian orange blossom, Egyptian jasmine, and ylang-ylang. These white florals are lush and slightly indolic, sitting heavily against the remaining citrus instead of floating above it. This density is the second reason Astrale works best when the air has a chill. Picture a bright morning where the sun warms a heavy coat, or a room lit by a fire where the air smells of resin and flower at the same time. The jasmine here feels suited to that enclosed, golden warmth.

The base confirms the argument with Spanish labdanum, coumarin, vanilla, benzoin, myrrh, and tolu balsam. These are thick, balsamic materials that create a sweet, amber-heavy foundation. The vanilla and benzoin lean sugary, but the myrrh and labdanum pull the blend toward something ancient and resinous. It is a fragrance that wraps around the wearer like a thick scarf, relying on the contrast between sharp citrus and heavy resin to keep the sweetness from becoming flat
